Reservoir Simulation
In addition to providing general
reservoir engineering, Fairchild and Wells, Inc. (FAW) has the expertise to
perform sophisticated reservoir simulation studies ranging from single-well,
single-phase performance analyses to more sophisticated multi-phase, three
dimensional reservoir management studies. FAW provides industry standard and
proprietary software on IBM RISC 6000 processors. The principals of FAW have
performed reservoir simulation studies of many of the major producing
reservoirs throughout the world. Specific objectives of the simulation studies
have ranged from reservoir fluid characterization using an equation-of-state to
characterization of complex reservoir performance through compositional and
dual porosity reservoir simulations.
FAW's simulation studies have
been performed on both a turnkey basis and on a time and material basis. In
some cases, FAW has provided support to our clients in-house studies. In these
instances, the client builds their own internal expertise, while at the same time,
benefiting from the many years of reservoir simulation experience and technical
strengths of FAW. This arrangement is also cost effective for the client.
